We have a very active Friends Committee within the school and encourage all families to get involved.

The events we hold are for the sole purpose of raising money for school projects (such as school sports kits, outdoor equipment, Christmas and Easter gifts, books and exciting enriching opportunities, IT and playground equipment). They are successful due to the generous help of parents, carers and family members throughout the school.

 

Over the past couple of years, we have done themed trails around Alcester, provided Christmas gifts, had a Christmas grotto, a poetry and illustration competition, Christmas cards, fairs, tea towels, Santa run, amongst other things.  More recently we have organised a school disco and a film night.

 

We do have volunteers who are unable to attend meetings but help support the fundraising activities in other ways.
