Introduction to Year Four
In Year 4, children will continue to build on and develop their previous learning behaviours on their journey to becoming independent and inquisitive learners. We encourage and reward hard work, perseverance and determination. We work together as a team to ensure we respect others and their opinions.
In March we have a 3 day/2 night residential at Edgmond Hall. This gives pupils the opportunity to undertake exciting activities, work as a team and gain experience at being independent in a sole occupancy, small, welcoming farm setting. We gain experience of trying new activities - we have a lot of laughs and fun and we make amazing memories that stay with us forever!
By the end of Year 4, pupils will be well equipped to continue their learning journey and personal development in upper KS2.

Multiplication Tables Check (MTC)
The multiplication tables check (MTC) is statutory for all year 4 pupils.
The purpose of the MTC is to determine whether pupils can recall their times tables fluently, which is essential for future success in mathematics.
TT Rockstars:
We use TT Rockstars in school to support the children with their times tables.
