    ✨ Young Voices 2026 ✨

What an unforgettable evening at the BP Pulse Arena! 🎢
Over 5,000 children from across our region filled the arena, singing their hearts out and creating an electric atmosphere. It truly was a spectacular night and a memory our children will treasure forever.

Our children were a real credit to their families and to our school — their behaviour, enthusiasm and commitment throughout the event were wonderful to see. 🌟

Events like this don’t happen without a huge amount of organisation, so a special thank you to Mrs Devereux for all her hard work, and to the Year 5/6 team, along with Mrs Kalaker, for the many hours of rehearsing and preparation. πŸ‘

    What an experience. 🎢✨

Our Father Christmas entry at Botany Bay Nursery, Astwood Bank, was lovingly created by children attending wraparound, who spent time designing and making it with Mrs Howl. What a fantastic example of creativity, teamwork and festive spirit!

It’s been lovely to hear that families have visited over the weekend to see the display—thank you for taking the time to support and celebrate the children’s hard work.

A huge well done to everyone involved for creating something so joyful and memorable this Christmas.

A huge thank you from St Nicholas

Thank you to Mrs Woodcock for organising our family tree planting event and for leading this wonderful part of our Climate Action Plan.

We’re also incredibly grateful to the staff who gave their time and support after school, helping make the event such a success.

Most importantly, thank you to the families who joined us to plant a lasting legacy on our school site. Each tree represents care for our environment, our community and future generations.

We’re so proud of what we’ve grown together.

    KS2 Christingle Celebration

Our wonderful KS2 pupils have been busy creating their beautiful Christingles and sharing their hard work with their families today. It was a truly special moment seeing the children proudly showcase their creations and reflect on the meaning behind them.

A huge thank you to Jen Hopkins from St Nicholas Church for leading the celebration and supporting the children in understanding the symbolism of Christingle. Your time and guidance made the experience even more meaningful for all involved.

Well done, KS2 — your Christingles were fantastic!
